What information is collected by us

Purposes include registering to receive e-mail newsletters, requesting further information about our trips, making a booking or simply asking a question about our trips.

When you supply information about yourself for a specific purpose, we use the information for only that purpose (ie to provide the service or information you have requested). We do not divulge any information we gather from you to any third party without your prior consent. If making a booking with us, additional information will be required for operational reasons.

Personally identifiable information is stored on servers that are not publicly accessible. Further, personally identifiable information is only accessed by Women Overland employees on a "need to know" basis.
Subscribe/Unsubscribe
If you subscribe to our email list you may later decide to have your name removed from the list. To unsubscribe you can either use the 'contact us' page of our web site and check the unsubscribe box, or you can send an email to email@womenoverland.com.au (from the address that you receive Women Overland messages) with the word Unsubscribe in the subject area.
What anonymous information is collected on this site
Anonymous clickstream information is collected from every visitor to this site. This includes pages viewed, date and time, and browser type. IP numbers are used to determine domain type and in some cases, geographic region.
How anonymous information is used
The information is used by us to build anonymous behavioural profiles. These profiles are used to ensure that our site content is relevant and appropriate for the majority of users. Again, there is no association to the users identity.
